About Vault@268
Vault@268 is Singapore’s first fully automated private vault facility, designed for individuals and businesses who require secure, discreet storage for their most valuable assets.
Located at Orchard Road, it combines high-security vault infrastructure with robotic retrieval technology, allowing clients to access their safe deposit boxes privately, without staff handling, anytime—24/7.
Because banks were never designed for privacy.
Vault@268 offers:
• 24/7 unrestricted access
• No staff handling your belongings
• No banking relationship or approvals required
• Access within minutes, not processes
Banks are reducing safe deposit services due to operational costs.
Vault@268 exists for the opposite reason—to provide control, discretion, and continuity.
Privacy at Vault@268 is built into the system—not added on.
• no staff handling your box
• no record of what you store
• no linkage between your identity and box contents
• no cameras inside private access areas
• opaque doors for complete discretion
• fully automated retrieval, not manual access
Unlike banks or home storage, your valuables remain unseen, unrecorded, and fully under your control.
Vault@268 is designed for individuals and businesses who value privacy, control, and secure off-site storage.
This includes:
• private clients and families
• business owners and professionals
• corporate clients managing sensitive documents or assets
• expats and frequent travellers
• collectors and investors
If something is valuable, sensitive, or difficult to replace, it typically does not belong at home.
Vault@268 is located at 268 Orchard Road, Singapore, in the heart of the city’s prime district—and is the only private vault facility in Orchard Road.
Situated beside the Apple Store and just a 5-minute walk from 313 Somerset, it is easily accessible for both local clients and international visitors.

Vault@268 is accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, unlike banks which operate within limited hours.
Security & Certifications
Not all vaults are built the same.
Vault@268 is built using KT8-100 strongroom walls and TT8 strongroom doors, both certified to a high international standard (Grade VIII) and independently tested.
This means the vault is designed to withstand serious break-in attempts, not just basic intrusion.
Vault@268 also operates under ISO 9001:2015, ensuring all processes are consistent, controlled, and regularly audited.
In short:
It’s not just secure—it’s tested, certified, and proven.
Our facility is protected by a multi-layered authentication system, including biometric authentication and 24/7 surveillance. All security alarms are actively monitored by SECOM Singapore, ensuring immediate and real-time response.

Privacy, Liability & Insurance
No.
Vault@268 does not request, track, or record the contents of your box.
Your assets remain entirely private—known only to you.
To respect the privacy of our clients, they are not required to disclose inventories to Vault@268. We are unable to insure against all potential liabilities that may arise from our clients' use of our services. Therefore, Vault@268 recommends that clients obtain adequate insurance coverage for the contents of their safe deposit boxes through their insurance agents. Please request for insurance agent referral from our sales staff.
For further insurance or audit purposes, the vault’s strongroom is of Grade 8 Certification from the European Certification Board (ECB•S), to ensure:
√ Transparency for insurance companies
√ Improving the quality of coverage for residual risk insurance
No. We respect our clients’ privacy and offer the flexibility to engage their preferred insurance representative, should they wish to arrange coverage. This allows clients full control over who is aware of their safe deposit box.
Vault@268 is designed with data minimisation and strict access control at its core.
• only essential information is collected for access verification
• personal data is not linked to box contents
• access to systems is tightly controlled and restricted
• internal processes are governed by audited standards (ISO 9001:2015)
We do not collect more than what is necessary, and we do not expose what is not required.
Usage & Storage
Vault@268 operates as a precision automated system.
Key guidelines include:
• The kiosk room door should remain closed while your box is in use
• Boxes are available in fixed sizes (Small and Large)
• Maximum weight per box: 30kg (66 lbs)
• Each session allows up to 20 minutes of private access
These ensure smooth operation and protect the system’s integrity.
Safe deposit boxes are convenient and provide a safe space away from your home or office to store valuables. Here, you can stash an inventory of important documents and keepsakes that are irreplaceable or hold sentimental value, such as:
√ Gold, silver, rare coins and precious metals
√ Jewellery, watches, collectibles and precious stones
√ Negotiable investment instruments like bonds and stock certificates
√ Family heirlooms, photos or historical records that are irreplaceable - like birth certificates and adoption papers
√ Hard disk drives carrying cryptocurrency like Bitcoin
√ Corporate-level contracts and business agreements
√ Real estate deeds, mortgages, and any other important financial records
√ Original wills, living trust documents, powers of attorney
No declaration of contents is required.
While Vault@268 is climate-controlled, we recommend sealing fragile documents or items in sealable plastic bags before depositing them in your safe deposit box. This helps ensure that your valuables remain airtight for extended periods.
Yes.
You may not store:
• illegal items
• weapons or explosives
• hazardous or flammable materials
All items must comply with Singapore law.
Never open the kiosk room door while your box is open.
1) If the box is in use – It cannot remain open at the ATM when the door is open for the safety of your valuables. The box immediately retracts into the Vault, regardless of whether the lid is open. As a result, a jam will occur, and the system will register a malfunction. Any damages and repairs will be borne by the client.
2) If the box has not yet been retrieved – simply exit the kiosk, wait for 1 minute before re-entering, and proceed as usual.
√ Box sizes are strictly limited to small and large dimensions in a solid plastic box, with no flexibility for expansion. Therefore, it is recommended to repack items into a sealable airtight bag.
√ The weight limit is 30kg (66 lbs). An alert will appear if the weight limit is exceeded. If the alert is ignored, the staff will prompt the client to adjust the contents of the box, or Vault@268 will immobilize the box to prevent tension on the robotic arm.
√ Minimum subscription period is 1 year.
√ A maximum of 20 minutes is allowed in the kiosk viewing room, with a warning displayed on the terminal when the time limit is reached.
Account & Administration
To terminate your box, simply complete the termination form and return all access items, including:
• access cards (for renter and co-renters)
• both box keys
Once completed, Vault@268 will close your account and securely erase your personal data.
Your refundable deposit will be returned in accordance with the termination terms.
For security and privacy, Vault@268 does not store PIN codes and does not hold master keys.
If you forget your PIN, visit our sales office during office hours (Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm) for verification and assistance.
If you lose your access card or key, contact us to arrange a replacement or locksmith appointment.
Please note that applicable charges may apply.
If we are unable to reach a client after multiple attempts via messaging, email, and registered mail, the box may be deemed unclaimed.
In such cases, the box will be repossessed in accordance with our terms. Outstanding fees may be recovered through the sale or disposal of the contents, and any remaining items may be handled at the company’s discretion.
The refundable deposit will be forfeited.
Personal data will be retained in line with regulatory and operational requirements. Clients are strongly encouraged to follow the proper termination process to ensure closure and data handling.
The minimum rental period is 1 year.
Clients who choose longer terms of 2 or 3 years enjoy preferred pricing, including up to $200 in savings.
Estate & Special Services
Vault@268 offers a complimentary Will Custodian Service for clients who store their original will in the vault.
You may legally appoint a custodian who can retrieve your will on your behalf in the event of incapacity or passing. This ensures that critical documents remain accessible when they are needed most, while still being securely stored during your lifetime.
Special arrangements can be made on a case-by-case basis.
Access is strictly restricted to registered box holders.
In the event of incapacity or passing, access will only be granted upon presentation of the appropriate legal documents, such as Probate (from a will) or a Letter of Administration issued by the court.
To avoid delays in urgent situations, clients are advised to appoint a co-renter in advance.
